Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Stir Fry Sauce I use an Organic Gluten Free Soy Garlic Stir Fry Sauce from Wegmans. Just use your favorite and watch the sugars.
  • 12 ounces Sirloin Steak Thinly Sliced
  • 3 cups Stir Fry Vegetables I use the stir fry blend at my grocery store. They are already cut and prepped and have broccoli, snow peas, carrots and mushrooms.
  • 8 ounces Brown Rice Noodles Typically found in the Asian food section.
  • Scallions for garnish
  • Sesame Seeds for garnish

Instructions

  • Remove the brown rice noodles from their package. Set in a large bowl and cover with very hot tap water. Move them around occasionally to prevent sticking. Heat 2 tbsp. of canola or vegetable oil over high heat. Throw in the vegetables and stir fry until they are crisp tender. Remove them from the pan and set aside.
  • Add the steak in and stir fry it really quick. You want it sliced thin so it shouldn't take long at all.
  • Throw the vegetables back in and add a 1/4 cup of the sauce or whatever you feel is necessary. This recipe is rather free form so if you like it saucier- go for it.
  • Now add the noodles, garnish with scallions, sesame seeds or what ever you like and enjoy.

Notes

This recipe is very flexible- you can replace the beef with chicken or tofu, brown rice noodles for regular, and the sauce is your choice.
