Ingredients

  • 10 ounces Edamame In the Pod.
  • 1 tbsp. Avocado Oil Or another high heat oil like coconut or grapeseed oil.
  • Juice of 1 Whole Lime
  • 1 tsp. Sea Salt Or to taste- I like Maldon Sea Salt.

Instructions

  • I recommend buying a bag of edamame where you can steam it in the bag in the microwave. It just makes this process easier. If you can't find that- you can blanch the edamame for 2 minutes in boiling water- then drain off the water.
  • While you're steaming the edamame, heat a cast iron skillet over medium high heat. Add in the avocado oil.
  • Once it's super hot and the oil is rippling- add in the edamame. Quickly stir fry until the outsides become blistered and have some dark spots. Add the lime juice, sea salt , garnish with sesame seeds if desired and serve!

Notes

The edamame you can steam in the microwave makes this process super easy. You an also use lemon juice in place of lime if that's what you have. You just need some acid with the salt.
