The Best Nespresso Iced Cinnamon Vanilla Coffee

If you asked Santa for a Nespresso, you’ll want to file this post away.  It’s one of the tastiest and easiest coffee recipes.  For true iced coffee lovers, delicious iced coffee isn’t just for hot summer days.  This is The Best Nespresso Iced Cinnamon Vanilla Coffee and I think once you taste it, you’ll skip those trips to the coffee shop and make your coffee at home.

Nespresso changes the coffee game.

I’ve had them all.  Espresso makers, drip coffee makers, Keurigs, french presses, pour over and stove top espresso makers.  With each purchase, I hoped that I wouldn’t want to go out for coffee.  Enter my Nespresso and I literally don’t like to get coffee out.  The last time I got an iced coffee at a major coffee chain, it was over $6 and that wasn’t even the largest size!

While some might say Nespresso pods are expensive, it usually averages to around $1.20 to $1.50 per drink. This is a fraction of the cost of coffee out.  I actually prefer my coffee at home now that I own a Nespresso.  

Tips The Best Nespresso Iced Cinnamon Vanilla Coffee

Perfect Iced Coffee at a fraction of the price is exactly what you get when you make this recipe. I even go so far as to buy myself cute disposable cups with straws so I can take my coffee to go!  

You can make coffee ice cubes with drop coffee, as I’ve seen some do, but I use regular ice cubes and because this is an espresso pod, I don’t see any loss of flavor.  

A frother is also a must for all your coffee needs. I’m going to give you a high end and lower end option. I’ve had great success with both.  

 

I have this little handheld electric frother that I keep by the coffee for when I want to make quick work of it all and if I want a hot froth for hot drinks, I use the Nespresso  Aeroccino Milk Frother.   

 

When I am frothing cold milk as with this recipe, I almost always just reach for my hand frother.  Hot milk however is easiest when the machine does the work!

 

 

Additions and Substitutions-What Nespresso Coffee pod to use for Lattes

I absolutely love the combo of vanilla and cinnamon together, so this recipe is dairy free because we also use almond milk.  The nuttiness of the milk is just complimented by the cinnamon.  You could use oat milk, coconut milk, soy milk, regular milk or any milk alternative you like.  

You could even omit the cinnamon and make this a mocha by using chocolate almond milk and garnishing with chocolate shavings.  As you can see this recipe is a base for the ratios you need for any flavor combo.

I chose to use simple ingredients here, but as you know coffee has endless possibilities.  Add pumpkin syrup to make a pumpkin spice latte or in place of the maple syrup and vanilla just use vanilla syrup.  Again, I prefer to keep it whole food based, but use what you like!

While Nespresso makes Iced Coffee Pods, I honestly prefer to brew the Bianco Doppio Pod which is formulated to work with milk.  Ice Forte is another favorite, but for me it is too strong.  

 

The nice thing about Nespresso Capsules is that they tell you what strength they are.  So, if you are a dark roast person, you’ll be able to select based on that.  Bianco Doppio is very middle of the road strength wise. 

Good Coffee Everytime

Coffee is so personal. Some are hot coffee only and others are cold coffee no matter the season. You can do this recipe hot as well as cold and it is still delicious.  I prefer it cold as  I tend to enjoy hot coffee in the morning and cold coffee in the afternoon.  I also prefer cold coffee when the summer heat is on.

 

 

Use this simple step-by-step guide and get creative with the flavors.  If you don’t care for say maple syrup then use simple syrup. This is a great easy recipe to start with and then build from.
