Oh my goodness what a week. The events of Las Vegas hit me like a ton of bricks. I think the entire country was in some state of mourning this week and for good reason. I found myself craving comfort. A warm blanket, a bowl of oatmeal, extra sleep and soup. I made minestrone and I had that on repeat for lunch. So, in light of such a heavy week, I bring you Meal Plan Inspiration Soup for the Soul. These soups, stews and slow cooker meals will leave you warmed through and through. They’ll also make dinner easy when you feel like you just can’t get into a whole lot.
Meal Plan Inspiration- Breakfast
Oatmeal is the ultimate nourishment and these Blueberry Oatmeal Super Food Protein Bowls will hit the spot.

Healthy Italian Minestrone with Tortellini – You can replace the tortellini with gluten free pasta if you’re gluten free. I always always cook my pasta separate from the rest of the soup because no one likes soggy pasta.
Just Like Homemade Turkey Bolognese– The slow cooker makes the turkey so tender and flavorful. Jarred sauce is leveled up with some extra ingredients and a nice simmer in the slow cooker.
Spicy Southwest Lentil Chickpea Chili makes the perfect burrito bowl too! Just serve over rice or quinoa and add your favorite toppings.
Who loves french onion soup? I know I do. This one is made entirely in the slow cooker and your house will smell heavenly. Slow Cooker Healthy French Onion Soup is sure to be in your comfort food rotation 😉
When you want comfort- you want dessert. So go ahead and make some cookies. These Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Monster Cookies have all the warm flavors of fall .. and chocolate 🙂
