Holiday Foodie Gift Guide 2017

Holiday Foodie Gift Guide 2017

My hope is that you are having a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with family. I don’t know about you, but I refuse to eat my turkey in the parking lot of Best Buy while I wait for a $99 lap top.  Thanksgiving is all about the food and that’s my wheel house.  After I have the kitchen put back together, I want to relax.  In my opinion shopping is best done from the couch with a coffee. This is who I write the Holiday Foodie Gift Guide 2017 for.  If I just described your shopping style, read on.

This is the ultimate Holiday Foodie Gift Guide 2017

Kick back, relax and thank goodness you aren’t waiting in some ridiculous line only to find the 5 they had of the thing you want is gone.

Cast Iron is a work horse in my kitchen and Lodge never steers me wrong.  This set comes with both the 10 inch and the 12 inch at a great price. Give one to a friend and keep one for yourself 😉

Jealous for all those perfect vegetable noodles on your Instagram feed?  Look no further. This is the best tool for spiralizing vegetables.  I’ve owned a few and tested them, so I know.  Make sure you buy from this link or look for the Inspiralized logo because there are tons of posers and none of them match up.

I have observed some seriously crispy food coming from these NuWave air fryers.  No more soggy sweet potato fries. No dealing with a bit vat of oil that needs changed.  Super healthy tasty results.

3 Ingredient 5 Minute Chicken Tacos– enough said. You need this thing.  I know you’ve been looking at it all year thinking “what’s the hype?”  The hype is slow cooked flavor in minutes.  Trust me.

Healthy meals that are perfect for a family- well look no further than Skinnytaste Fast and Slow. There’s a reason Gina has such a following.  Her recipes are approachable no matter your skill level or access to ingredients.

For the vegetarian in the family or just because you want to eat amazing food that doesn’t contain meat- this is the cookbook.  There’s nothing weird about Kate’s recipes.  She cooks food that’s delicious and just so happens to be meat free. Cookie is also adorable if you’re a dog lover, which I don’t know why you wouldn’t be 😉

I love appliances that do the work of multiple items. This Cuisinart Toaster Oven is an air fryer, convection oven and toaster oven in one. Talk about making space on the counter.

I got my Echo on prime day. Let me tell you Alexa is a sweet little assistant and the sound quality out of something so small is mind blowing. Imagine you’re out of butter and you just say “Alexa add butter to the shopping list.”  Next time you’re at the store, you pull up your list on the Alexa app and there it is.  No more having to remember to write it down.   This is the tip of the iceberg for what I use Alexa for, but let me tell you that one thing was a selling point as this foodie has a continuous grocery list.

A dutch oven is perfect for that slow cooked roast, sauce, or soup.  I actually prefer to use the dutch oven if I’ll be home and can monitor things.  The results are super tender perfectly cooked food every single time.

The coffee lover in your life will appreciate this. The Chemex has been around for ages and despite all of our advances, it makes the best cup of coffee.  If you or someone you know loves a good rich cup of joe, this is the answer.  I suggest doing a gift basket with their favorite beans and accessories. 😉

I always sing the praises of Rachel Ray’s products.  Her sheet pans are some of my favorite and this crisper pan ensures you won’t have soggy food from the oven any longer.

So there it is- Holiday Foodie Gift Guide 2017.  I know the foodie in your life would be thrilled to have anyt of these. Well, especially the Instant Pot… just sayin 😉
